He is the second of three sons born to Retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant David Ritchson and high school teacher Vickie (Harrell). Ritchson is married to high school girlfriend Catherine Ritchson (May 12, 2006 – present) and the couple has 3 Childrens, Calem, Edan & Amory.
After graduating from Niceville High School, he graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Okaloosa Walton Community College, now Northwest Florida State College.
