Her early career began with Telugu thriller film Photo (2006). The film was offered after getting spotted during modeling assignments by director Siva Nageswara Rao. She played the female lead in another Telugu romance film Premalekha Raasa (2007). Both the films garnered negative responses. Later that year she appeared in Kattradhu Thamizh.
